Now let’s be honest, diets suck. And unless you’re a very determined person, you’ll just gain it all back once you’ve gone off it. Because that’s the thing with diets, they only show us what to eat and what not to eat, but only until we’ve hit our desired weight.
After that, it’s good luck to you. There’s no instruction manual that comes with these diets to help you live a healthy lifestyle.
But that’s the key to losing weight and actually keeping it off; lifestyle. Because you can go on a 6-week no carb diet, lose 20 pounds, and then gain it all back. The reason for this? Diets are a temporary lifestyle. They’re only meant for a certain amount of time and if you don’t learn about how to live a healthier life, then you’ll never be healthy. The knowledge just isn’t there.
But you can keep it off. It’s all about incorporating the right things into your diet and actions. It’s all about knowing the fake “health advice” and learning what’s actually good for your body.
So all this to say that I’ve found an awesome set of graphs that’ll show you how to lose that weight and keep it off. They’re packed with great info that will help you live a healthier lifestyle and know your options.
First the Science of Weight Loss
This graph is packed with awesome information for you to know how to live healthy, how to measure your progress, and figuring out what exactly is right for you. It even goes into the best weight loss programs and how successful they are. So if you’re curious about what might work for you, then this is definitely something to check out.
Oh and what else is great about this graph? It shows how you can spot a weight loss program scam or know if it’s just a hype.. that’s pretty helpful.
Now to Start Your Day Off Right
That was some pretty great info in the last graph, but actually knowing what your healthier food options are is a huge help. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so check out these healthy meals to start your day off right.
Remember, you want to incorporate the good things into your life without making yourself feel deprived. Choose things that you enjoy and don’t make you feel like you’re missing out. This is your new lifestyle after all, you don’t want to be miserable.
Now for More Food Because Food is Awesome
This graph is great because it shows you the snacks and foods you can incorporate into your meals to start feeling better and see results. Mix, combine, and add as a side; this is some helpful food for thought (pun definitely intended).
More on Healthy Food and Lifestyle Changes
Now I like this one a lot because it goes into the details of what benefits you should expect from eating a certain food, drinking a certain drink, or doing a certain action. It’s kind of fun just knowing how I’m benefiting myself when I do these things.
Metabolism Booster Cheat Sheet
I’m all about knowing how I can speed up my metabolism, because that’s probably the biggest key to losing weight. So many of these healthy lifestyle changes play a factor in boosting your metabolism. And when you’re given a rundown on how to do it, then you can put it into action.
Now for Exercising – How Much Should You Do?
Now I’m pretty sure that we all know how we shouldn’t over exercise at first because we’ll get burned out. But how much exercise is good for you as an individual? How can you know what’s too much and what’s too little? What type of exercises can you do to meet your goal? Oh yeah, and what are the benefits?
This infographic has it all written down for you.
Now for the Exercise Graphs!
For Those of You Feeling Lazy..
Now we all want to workout and look great, but not all of us have the motivation. So here’s a fun little graph that shows you how to get a great workout in bed (that was not meant to sound bad..).
For Those of You With Little Time…
Want to get in shape but don’t have the time (or at least not that much)? Great, then this one is for you!
Now That You Have Some Ideas…
How to Do an Exercise Right
The whole point of exercising is to get healthy and be mobile later on in life when you’re older. But if you’re hard on your body, then there won’t be much of a future for you to stay active.
You may not feel it now or soon, but in the future, it won’t feel so great. And that’s why it’s so important that you learn how to have proper posture and form when exercising so that when it is later in life, you’ll still be able to stay in shape.
For Those Looking for an All Around Good Exercise Routine
Now Buzzfeed made an awesome infographic if you’re looking to get an all around awesome workout for when you’re at home. It’s simple to follow and very handy to save and keep around. Learn some of them, make a routine, and you’ll start to see your body benefit soon.
I really hope these helped you because I know how hard it can be to switch over to a healthier lifestyle. It doesn’t come easy and instant next day satisfaction just isn’t there. But I know you can do it! And if you ever need any inspiration or advice, email me! I’d love to hear you out!

Love the colorful graphs – makes learning fun! Yes it’s all about lifestyle changes and sticking to them!
Hey Gloria! I’m so glad you liked these graphs! 🙂
Hi, I really like your way of thinking. You make it seems so easy. I have just started a slimming institute in Belgium, I work with 10 muscle strengthening exercises under infrared lamps (good for 30 min) and 30 minutes of cardio exercise such as brisk walking on a hill on a treadmill designed with infrared lamps and vacuum.
My goal is to get everyone in shape but without diets. I want to accomplish that my clients realise how unhealthy there body is and that its really not that difficult to downsize their Belly Fat and metabolic age. I really want to make the differance and help my clients to live happier, healthier and longer!! Your compilation is just as I imagined myself to do it.
Can I use some of it on my website?
Could you give me some tips and tricks?
Greatings from Belgium
Kim
Hey Kim, I really like the fact that you want to make a difference in people’s lives. You can definitely use some of the infographics on your site, just make sure you link back to this page.
As for tips and tricks, I would really suggest interval training. It’s such a great way to lose weight and build muscle. Also, I saw that you said that you wanted to help people get in shape without diets. I like this because diets are a temporary lifestyle that people don’t usually stick to. What are you going to teach people in long term lifestyle changes (for example, how to cook healthy and delicious meals)? I hope you don’t mind me asking, I’m just curious. 🙂
Thank you for this awesome compilation of infographs! I would love to include this is in a post on my blog!
Hey thanks Kristi! Go for it. 🙂
