But did you know that you can repurpose these magazine holders into something useful and functional? Magazine holders are super versatile that can be moved, painted, and cut to create a lot of things!
So down below, I’ve gathered some genius ways to upcycle and repurpose your magazine holders. These are all easy to do, useful, and will add instant decor and organization to your home. So check them out below and let me know what you think!
DIY Chopping Board Organizer
Never let your chopping boards clutter your countertops again when you repurpose your magazine holder into an organizer. It can hold up to five pieces of differently sized chopping boards. Also, you can keep your baking sheets, pans and candy molds here. Put them in your cabinet and have a neat kitchen.
Organize Flats and Flip-Flops and Slippers
Get your old wired magazine folders and make it into a storage area for all of your light footwear. Separate your slippers from your flats when organizing so they can be easily grabbed. You’ll clean up your entryway and make sure your things are in order.
Plastic Wrap, Tin Foil, and Wax Paper Holder
It can be frustrating when your drawers get filled up with too many items. So declutter them with this simple tip! Keep plastic wrap, foil, and wax paper all altogether in one place and consider using your magazine folder to hold them all.
Attach it to the inside of a kitchen cabinet or pantry door so you can have easy access to and keep your foil, plastic wrap, and zip-lock bags inside!
Veggie Holder
Store your non-refrigerated veggies on your countertops or pantry using your magazine holder. Keep your onions, potatoes, tomatoes and other veggies that are good at room temperature in place and refrain them from rolling around and getting forgotten behind a bag of chips. For this one, I suggest you take a mesh metal folder to easily check if you need to restock your supply and see if they’re already rotten.
Cleaning Supplies Holder
Be sure to keep your cleaning supplies stored all in one place. All you have to do is put your cleaning supply in, and place inside a cabinet. Attach the magazine holders to the wall of the cabinet or use command hooks to extra create space. And whenever you need cleaning supplies, they’ll be all together and easy to grab.
Storage for Hot Styling Tools
Give your hair styling tools a new home by repurposing your magazine holders. Just store your curling irons, hair straightener, and other hair styling tools in it and never misplaced them again. You can also attach it to the side of your bathroom counter so you can easily grab them!
Use them as Shelves in Your Freezer
If you really want to maximize all the space in your fridge, then I’d suggest getting a wired folder and use it as shelves to hold up food items. You can store your frozen packed vegetables, drinks, and other supplies that’ll fit. Just make sure you’re careful when putting the rack in your freezer to avoid scratching the inner layer of your fridge.
Hide Your Modem or Router
There’s no doubt that visible home modems and routers (with constantly blinking lights) can make your room look a little less attractive. So why not hide them and use a cardboard magazine holder to store them in? It’s the easiest and most effective way to pretty up your space and declutters at the same time.
Toilet Paper Holder
Stack your toilet paper in a magazine holder for simple organization. You can also use them for keeping your rolled towels, washcloths, and linens all together.
Keep Cups and Mugs Together in Kitchen Cabinets
Your magazine holder can hold differently sized cups and mugs. So clear up your cabinet space and keep them organized in a magazine holder. The storage will keep your cups and mugs separated and easy to reach. It’s such a simple hack!
