Drops of Essential Oil Inside the Toilet Paper Roll

DIY Toilet Bomb

Did you know that with just some baking soda, water, and citric acid, you can effortlessly make a DIY toilet bomb? Here’s how: just mix a 1/2 cup of baking soda with a 1/2 cup of citric acid in a bowl and give it a good stir until it’s well mixed.

Add the water in a spray bottle (since you’ll only need a small amount) until you reach the desired consistency. Put them in a silicon mold (or ice tray) and allow to sit overnight. In the morning, you’ll have a bomb ready to clean your toilet.

Use a Plate or Jar of Lemon Slices

I think this is the easiest so far from the list. All you have to do is leave a plate or jar of lemon slices, and let the citrusy scent fill the room. The lemons will make your bathroom smell fresh and neutralize odors. Just remember to change the lemon slices once a week before they go bad.

Homemade Trashcan Deodorizer

Baking soda doesn’t just make toilet bombs, but trashcan deodorizers as well. With relatively the same process as the previous DIY mixture, you’ll just need a mixture of baking soda and essential oil. Once it’s set and looks like a tab, throw it in your trash can, and you’re done. You can also do the same for almost all the trash cans that you have in your home.

Essential Oil Diffusers

Speaking of essential oils, here’s another way to use them. You just have to fill a spray bottle with water, a few drops of essential oil, add some lemon (optional) and spray around. Spray it on your folded towels or hand towels by the sink. It’s super easy to make!

Hang a Eucalyptus Bunch in Your Shower

This trick will definitely make your bath time and showers more relaxing (as well as make your bathroom smell good). Just simply hang a bunch of eucalyptus around the shower head. The steam and any hot water that gets on it will help bring out the smell (or you can dampen it with hot water when first hanging the branches). The natural oil from the leaves gives an amazing aromatherapy that’ll provides some relief to your body.

Not only does it make your bathroom smell good, but it can also benefit your health as well. Seriously impressive!

Add Some Air Purifying Plants

Another natural and easy method to make your bathroom smells fresh and clean up is by putting air purifying plants into it. Potted plants like bamboo palm, dracaena, peace lily and more are a great indoor plant that when placed in bathrooms or laundry rooms helps removes mold spores and purify air cleanliness. The benefits are endless, so why not try this tip out.
