Now we all know that having caffeine and sugar too close to bedtime can mess with your sleep and even cause insomnia, but there are other beverages that can help you burn fat and boost your metabolism! So check out these six drinks that’ll help you burn fat while you sleep!
Cinnamon tea: Just like green tea, cinnamon tea has lots of health benefits. When consumed regularly, it can increase insulin sensitivity and decrease blood sugar which are crucial for losing weight. Moreover, it can enhance your metabolic performance since it requires more energy to be processed in your body.
Milk: Whether hot or cold, one glass of milk before bed will not only help you sleep more soundly but also prevent next-day cravings. Milk also provides protein which will help your muscles get stronger during sleep (see study here). Also, milk is one of the most relaxing things I love to drink before bed!
Cucumber juice: You can turn some fresh and juicy cucumbers into a healthy bedtime drink. Thanks to the antioxidants, fiber, minerals, and vitamins which help fat burning, cucumber are a great choice for weight loss, especially for the belly area.

Lemon juice: Lemon juice is a great drink and can work as an antibiotic and enhance your immune system. But it can also boost your metabolism and help you lose weight. All you need to do is add a few drops of lemon juice to your bedtime water and you’ll see the results once you do it regularly.
Dandelion tea: One cup of dandelion tea can give you a good night’s sleep thanks to its relieving effect on your stomach. And since it’s a natural diuretic, dandelion tea can also help you get rid of water weight so you can feel lighter and relieved before going to bed.
Soy protein shake: Soy milk or soy protein powder is rich in amino acid tryptophan, which has been shown in studies to be great at improving sleep quality. It can also decrease cortisol levels to help you burn belly fat. So grab some the next time you’re at the store and drink up!
Whether you want to lose weight or just maintain it, there are plenty of drinks that will help you do just that! And what better way to lose weight than with easy drinks before bedtime? So give these a try and let us know what you think!

All individual!
I am on my weight loss journey and I agree that combined exercise and healthy diet is important.
It does not have to be 1000 steps or anything like that. But start with small things such as walking in the park, From there, build the momentum and improve daily. Weight loss should be enjoyable and rewarding at the end. Also, small habits such as keeping fruit in the fridge and healthy snacks such as roast almonds could give you a huge payoff in the long term.
One other thing can help is starting a diet journey with a written plan and a journal. You want to come up with a system that you can follow and adjust based on your situation. I keep a list of exercises, progress and food recipes that help me with my diet.
I love tea! I keep a bunch of tea recipes in my journal. I benefited from the Red tea detox program. It has a bunch of ingredients that help to reduce hunger and production of stress hormones. It helps me to cut my binge eating habit that I have tried to get rid of since forever.
Personally I follow all in one guide from fatlosshabbit.com, they have the best Red tea detox recipes plus all the exercises and diet necessary to give you results in just 14 days. I hope this can help you and good luck in your weight loss journey.
