Sanitize a Dishwasher
Your dishwasher cleans your dishes so it really does make sense to keep it clean at all times. And to easily sanitize your machine, just pour lemonade Kool-Aid into the detergent dispenser and run a warm cycle.
The citric acid in the lemonade, when combined with hot water in your dishwasher will get rid of the grime and stains in a breeze.
Clean Your Grimy Kitchen Cabinets
To make your kitchen cabinets look like new again, a mixture of one part of coconut oil and two parts baking soda will definitely do the trick. Apply the paste to your grimy cabinet doors and brush down the dirt using an old toothbrush. In no time, they’ll look clean and shiny.
Clean Your Oven
With the use of baking soda and a mixture of water and vinegar, you can easily clean and disinfect your oven. It’s so much better than any expensive store cleaners that come with toxic chemicals that are horrible for your health.
Cast Iron Cleaner
This tip is super easy and smart. You just need to sprinkle a generous amount of salt on the pan, cut a potato in half, and scrub in a circular motion with the potato half. After removing the salt, put some oil on the cast iron pan, and easily wipe it all off.
Remove Water Stains from the Kitchen Faucet
Before you throw those orange peels out, put them to good use and remove water stains from your kitchen faucet. The citric acid and the oils in the orange peels create a streak-free finish naturally.
Clean Out Your Disposer
Clean the areas below your splash guard using a toothbrush and a grease-cutting cleaner to easily get rid of grease and food build up. This will make your disposer smell better and work more effectively.
Remove Rust Stains on Kitchen Knives
If you notice that your kitchen knives are starting to build some rust, simply soak them in lemon juice for a minute and wipe with a clean cloth after. The citrus juice will easily get rid of the rust and make your knife functional again.
Copper Pots Cleaner
Instead of buying new copper pots, give them a new look and try out this trick. All you have to do is sprinkle the surface with some salt, then pour a little bit of vinegar over it, and scrub with a sponge.
Also, do this tip for your baking sheets and other metal cookware, you’ll be thankful.
