If you’re thinking of what plants to bring into your home for this season, then I highly suggest getting medicinal houseplants. These are plants that have properties that can help improve and better your health. And some of them bloom flowers that attract butterflies, help purify your air, and make your home look great.
And having said that, here are some medicinal houseplants I’ve found that will be great for your home. They’re easy to care for, require minimal attention, and will help your health.

Calendula
Best for curing wounds, sprains, stings, and varicose veins, this plant grows in almost any type of soil condition. If you apply this flower oil to your cuts, scrapes, bruises, and insect bites, you can quickly speed up the healing process due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Rosemary
If you want to strengthen your immune system, then rosemary is the way to go. It’s rich in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and has anti-carcinogenic compounds that can help us fight diseases and other threats to our immune system.
Echinacea
Another medicinal plant that can help boost your immune system is Echinacea. It has the capacity to raise the body’s resistance to bacterial and viral infections by stimulating the immune system. Likewise, it has antibiotic properties that help relieve allergies as well.
Oregano
As a good source for antimicrobial and antioxidants, oregano is not just great for dishes but for your health as well. This super herb is very rich in antioxidant phytochemical flavonoids and phenolic acids which help improve digestion as well as destroying harmful microbes.

Seriously, skip the expensive and chemically made pills and try one or all of these natural and effective medicinal houseplants. They can better your strength and help improve your health.
