As you know, I’ve done a lot of home organization hacks before, but I just couldn’t help doing another one again. Especially since I’ve found some amazing tips and tricks that cost less than $10. Yes, you heard that right, they all cost under $10. These are budget-friendly, practical ideas that will keep your things organized and in order. They can help you put everything in its place and make your life so much easier.
So feel free to check them out and let me know what you think!
DIY Mail Baskets
If you’re having a hard time sorting out your mail and bills, then maybe it’s time to try this organizing hack.
Get two sturdy plastic-coated wire caddies at your local dollar store. Repaint them with the color you want, add some labels, and hang next to your front door. This will save you so much time (since you’ll be able to sort it right as it comes through the entrance) and keeps the clutter away.
Use Dollar Store Plastic Bins
I think plastic bins from the Dollar store are such a great addition to any room. They come super cheap, easy to use, and really organize your home.
You can use them to organize your kid’s clothes, books, toys, garage, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and so much more.
Organize Your Cupcake Liners
One of the best (and cutest) ways to organize your cupcake liners is by using a mason jar. It’s cheap and a great way to display the liner’s colors and patterns on your counter or in the pantry.
Use Mason Jars to Store Spices
Keep your spices organized and in order by using small sized mason jars that you can store in your drawers. All you have to do is put all those store-bought spices that come in small plastic bags into the jars, and store in your pantry or drawer.
Little Caddy for Your Toiletries
Another great organization idea below $10 that you can use for your bathroom, is a plastic caddy. All you have to do is put your bath essentials in the caddy and grab it whenever you need it. Do the same for your cleaning supplies and place them under your sink.
And as an added bonus, this little caddy can also fit in your car; perfect for holding snacks. No more messy road trips anymore.
Command Hook Organization
Though they’re small, they can seriously help out.
Just simply stick them on the wall so you can organize your jewelry, kitchen utensils, pot lids, hanging bins, and so much more. When you don’t need them anymore, they’re easy to remove leaving no damage to your wall.
DIY Recipe Box
Before you lose your favorite recipes (handed down to you by your grandma?), why not keep them in a DIY recipe box. All you need is a shoe box sized container and cover it with pretty paper (or Washi tape).
Now try checking Pinterest for some awesome recipes and print for your organization box. You’ll save so much time when finding them and they’ll always be within reaching distance.
Organize The Small Supplies
If you want a creative and cheap organization hack for all your knick-knacks and small items, consider getting a utility box with dividers. It can hold all your thumbtacks, papers clips, staples, pins, and rubber bands. This is a great way to easily clean out your junk drawer.
Cord Organizer
To keep your cords and other cables within reach (and from sliding off your desk), put a binder clip on the edge of your desk, and rest the cords inside of the binder clip handles. You can say goodbye to tangled and twisted cords now that you have an organized workstation.
No matter how frugal you are, there are always more practical and cheaper ways to can organize your home. Almost everyone hates clutter, but thankfully you don’t have to spend a ton of money to keep things in order. So give them a try and let me know what you think!
