For us women, the topic of weight loss can be a sore spot. But, thankfully, there are some simple habits that women who stay slim do frequently.

Basically…you don’t need to diet to lose weight and can STILL go to McDonald’s.
1. Follow a balanced eating schedule
They don’t skip meals and follow a balanced diet. When a person skips a meal, it slows down the metabolism and stores up more calories as the body is in starvation mode.
2. Cooking method
It’s found that many Asians are a lot slimmer than other races since one of the most popular cooking methods in Asia is steaming or boiling.
3. More protein
Protein helps the growth of muscle and takes care of internal organs.
Slim and skinny people are known to eat more lean proteins in their diet as it has lower calories (than fatty proteins) and can satisfy the body more than carbs.
4. Water vs. other beverages
Water will ALWAYS be one of the best ways to stay slim. It helps you burn calories, so make sure to drink water throughout the day (8+ cups).
5. Laughter
Laughter can indeed be one of the best medicines. Laughing for 15 minutes a day can burn around 10-40 calories.
So find a funny show or Youtube videos to watch, look up jokes online, or laugh hard at that funny story your friend just told you. It all counts!
6. Movement
You may notice that skinny people are almost always active.
Being active, like walking while talking on the phone, or moving side to side while watching a Netflix show, are small activities that make a huge difference in the body.
7. Manage stress
Managing stress is one of the keys to being slim. If you are overwhelmed by work and personal responsibilities, it’s likely that it will affect your weight.
Talking with your friends about your problems and going out regularly are all important for managing stress.
Habits like these can help you embrace the skinny life and keep it up. And incorporating them into your life will definitely help you achieve some of your body goals…So give them a try!
