  2. What about gift cards? There a ton of sites out there that sell gift cards to hundreds of retailers at a discount (i.e. Gift Card Karma). I use them all the time to purchase Nordstrom gift cards I usually save about 10-15% from just purchasing cards from their site. It’s my secret weapon πŸ™‚

  4. I have found that soda water or what people across the pond call Club Soda, is fantastic to get most stains out. Just pour a little on the stain and scrub it with a nail brush (not too hard if fthe material is delicate). It even gets stains out of the carpet.

  6. To remove blood stains., just pour peroxide on the area and let it bubble the blood out like it does in a wound. When its done just rinse and throw in the wash. Also i add ORIGINAL BLUE DAWN (the cheaper version does not work) to all my laundry. I have 2 boys and a mechanic husband and it gets out their greasiest stains. It also just helps get all laundry cleaner and fresher.

  7. The alcohol wipes work on all white leather to remove superficial scuffs and dirt, if like me, you have white bags and shoes than take a wipe from your bag and rubb out any spot or scuff…

  8. I have been known to cut off a leg each of two pair of hose and wear them doubled. Just make sure they are exactly the same!

  9. If you rip your nylons a quick and easy way to stop them from ripping anymore is to put clear nail on and around the rip. I suggest carrying a clear nail polish in your purse.

  10. When you wear white or light colored polyester, carry alcohol prep pads with you. If you get something on your clothes, scrub the dtain away with the prep pads. Used this tip for years wearing white uniform shirts.
