Jamón Ibérico
A photo from the day trip I took to Madrid. An incredibly beautiful place with great food and kind people!
Jamón ibérico is one of the best and easiest things you can probably knock off this Spanish food list.
It’s a sliced cured ham which you can get at some stores (so no cooking!) and it’s incredibly rich and delicious.
Also, you can eat it as is or with bread and cheese. Definitely worth trying!
Sopa De Ajo
I love putting eggs on things, so I definitely look forward to trying this Spanish recipe! It looks incredibly hearty and flavorful.
Also, with ingredients like garlic, olive oil, paprika, and even bread (as the thickener), I don’t think you can go wrong.
Arroz con Pollo (Spanish Chicken and Rice)
This is the kind of recipe you make when you want something super filling and satisfying.
I really do love chicken and rice recipes, so this one is going to go up pretty close to the top of my list.
Also, it includes things like white wine, olives, garlic, saffron, olive oil, and many other ingredients that make it sound like it tastes incredible. 👌
Basque Cheesecake
Caramelized on the outside like a creme brûlée, it has that wonderful burnt sugar flavor on the outside while have the creamy interior on the inside.
I’ve had this a few times and it’s always satisfying and delicious!

Gazpacho
Gazpacho soup is a cold soup you’d have on warmer days. Now I’m not used to cold soups, but I would definitely be down for trying this refreshing recipe!
Seafood Paella Valenciana
This one is seen as being the most authentic version of paella, but of course that’s always going to be debated.
Either way though, I am definitely up for trying a delicious rice and seafood recipe! With all the different types of meats and spices, I can see this being a very satisfying Spanish meal. 🙂

Escalivada
Slow roasted veggies are so good and I am all for trying this escalivada with some fresh bread!
Being a classic Spanish tapas dish, the bell peppers, onions, tomato, and aubergines (eggplant) are roasted with olive oil and garlic and are probably packed with a ton of flavor!
Roasted Spanish Potatoes
Spanish potatoes are so incredibly good; they’re perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Also before cooking, they’re tossed in a delicious sauce making these super flavorful!

Spanish Rice And Beans
Honestly, if it’s not an American version of rice and beans, I’m going to eat.
No hate towards people who like it (at all!), I just grew up with the American version and didn’t like it very much. But whenever I have rice and beans elsewhere, it’s always super flavorful and delicious. So I would try this Spanish version in a heartbeat!
