And there are so many different ways you can experience it!

You can have Korean BBQ where they cook the meat in front of you and bring out a whole bunch of tasty small dishes. You can order one of many different types of hearty savory soups. Or you can just order a ton of different dishes and dig in with some friends family style.

And if you’ve been curious for awhile, then I think you’ll like these Korean food recipe. You can check things off as you go and make it a fun way to experience a new type of cuisine!

1. Kimchi

Coming at the top of this Korean food list is kimichi which is a delicious spicy fermented cabbage.

And if you’ve had it before but weren’t crazy about it, then I’d definitely recommend experimenting!

Not all kimchi is the same.

There are so many different recipes that you can try, and when you do find the right one, it can be SO good!

2. Bibimbap

Bibimbap is such a fun dish to cook and probably one of the best Korean dinner recipes to try.

The first part “bibim” means mixing and “bap” is Korean for rice.

You get some rice and put a whole bunch of different toppings on it, put a bit of gochujang (a delicious Korean condiment) on top, and you’re all set!

I love mandu and it’s one of my favorite Korean dishes! 

It’s such a fun dish to get along side the rest of your order.

They’re tasty dumplings filled with savory juicy meat, but you can also get other flavors and ingredients as well!

4. Tteokbokki

Ttekbokki is such a good South Korean food! They’re short little rice cakes that have a fun satisfying texture and are swimming in a delicious sauce.

I’ve had it with fish cakes and boiled eggs, which also makes the dish so much more savory and good.

5. Kimchi Pancakes

Kimchi pancakes are a fun savory tangy fluffy Korean food.

I honestly think it’s a great recipe to pair with some gochujang. I’m not saying that’s a traditional pairing, but it would taste good. 🤷‍♀️

If you’re craving Korean cuisine and you wanna get delivery or make it at home, then I would definitely suggest trying this.

Because while I haven’t had authentic Korean fried chicken yet, I do have a friend who lived in Korea who says it’s incredible. 👌 

They make it taste extra good by double frying it with a potato starch batter which honestly sounds amazing!

This stew sounds so tasty! I could see myself eating this on a cold night; it looks like the perfect comfort food!

Also, Korean cooking is all about flavor and using good ingredients, and this has plenty of great spices, veggies, and aromatics.
